DIGIPHARM CEO gives keynote speech at the UN Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business Forum in Hangzhou, China.

Ahmed Abdulla, CEO of DIGIPHARM, a blockchain solutions provider that specialise in value-based pricing of healthcare provided a keynote speech to delegates and attendees at the UN Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business Forum hosted by the China National Institution of Standardization (CNIS).

The main topics covered in the presentation were relating to the implementation of blockchain in pharmaceutical supply chain and value-based payment mechanisms in healthcare (where treatment costs are linked to how well they work with patients) and how to incorporate trade facilitation standards for mainstream adoption of blockchain within the healthcare industry.

Ahmed is an expert member for blockchain in healthcare and project chapter coordinator for the blockchain in healthcare working group at the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), which is a subsidiary and intergovernmental body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) which serves as a focal point within the United Nations Economic and Social Council for trade facilitation recommendations and electronic business standards.
